Christmas evening sky

Mercury and Venus, and their father Jupiter and grandfather Saturn, beam down on you with their fervent wish that life on their fellow planet will brighten in the coming year.

ILLUSTRATIONS in these posts are made with precision but have to be inserted in another format.  You may be able to enlarge them on your monitor.  One way: right-click, and choose “View image”, then enlarge.  Or choose “Copy image”, then put it on your desktop, then open it.  On an iPad or phone, use the finger gesture that enlarges (spreading with two fingers, or tapping and dragging with three fingers).  Other methods have been suggested, such as dragging the image to the desktop and opening it in other ways.

  1. Happy New Year Guy,
The best of health and Good Luck for you and your loved ones.
Many thanks for your Astronomical Calendar 2022.
It will brighten up the year for sure.

      1. I wish I could make mine as *accurate* as yours LOL! I use planetarium software as a guide for the constellation boundaries, but unfortunately I am still just drawing them in “free-hand”, so there are probably some slight inaccuracies.

  2. Best wishes to all for Christmas. It’s a cool, humid and foggy Boxing Day morning here.
